Spanish 1, High School

Spanish 1 is a year-long course designed to prepare the student for a novice-high proficiency in Spanish communication. This course meets the requirements for one year of high school Foreign Language. Our curriculum focuses on practical comprehension and communication in a way that allows each student to play to his or her strengths. Using text and engaging activities, students will develop basic Spanish communication skills, learn to share the gospel, and study Spanish speaking countries around the world. Coursework will include regular practice and activities, group and partner work, self-assessment checklists, oral and written exams.
